Brown criticized 2Baba for allegedly stringing Annie along for years, only to eventually walk away. She argued that he owes the public an explanation, considering how invested society was in his marriage. “I don’t think 2Baba should go scot-free for what he has done and how he has damaged this young woman,” she said. “Maybe it was societal pressure that caused him to stay with her, but at what point did he decide he was done? What audacity does he have to say he has fallen out of love with her?”
