28-year-old Man Arrested for Using Charms to Defraud Married Woman of N1.8m
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kano has arrested a 28-year-old man, Salisu Abdu Adam, for allegedly defrauding a married woman of N1.8 million through the use of charms. The arrest was confirmed in a statement by the Command’s spokesperson, Ibrahim Abdullahi, who said the suspect is currently in custody.
Adam, who hails from Garko Local Government Area but resides in Kawo, Nassarawa LGA of Kano State, reportedly deceived the victim with promises of providing her better education and a lucrative business. According to the NSCDC, he allegedly deployed charms to gain the woman’s trust before obtaining the money from her.
Abdullahi stated that investigations have been concluded and the suspect will soon be charged in court.
