2027: ADC Opens Discussions With Bala Mohammed
A delegation of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), led by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, held a closed-door meeting with Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, at the Government House in Bauchi.
Sources indicate that discussions centred on possible political alignments and strategic options for the governor and his supporters as preparations begin for the 2027 general elections.
The meeting comes amid ongoing shifts within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), where a faction aligned with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, is reported to have consolidated control of the party structure.
