2021 Council Elections: Lagos PDP kicks off with Primaries

The Lagos State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party PDP ably led by Engr Adedeji Doherty has rolled out the schedule for primary elections to pick candidates for Chairmanship and Councillorship positions in the forthcoming Council Elections that has been slated for Saturday 24th July 2021.

The primaries have been scheduled to hold from the 28th to 31st of May 2021 at designated centres.

Reports emanating from the office of the State Chairman also reveal that the Option A4 style of voting would be adopted in the respective voting centres.

Elections for all the 20 Local Government Areas would be taken place on the 31st of May 2021 at respective designated centres with the exception of Ojo Local Government primary elections which would take place on 28th of May 2021 at 120 Olojo Drive Ojo and Ikeja Local Government primary elections which would hold at 10 Degrees Events Centre on 29th May 2021.

Engr Doherty advised all aspirants and indeed their supporters to uphold the Peace and Sportsmanship that the party is well noted for.

He further advised that victory at the primaries should spur the emerging candidates for the ultimate positions for Chairmen and Councillors at the various LGA’s and LCDA’s.
