“Your Success is Our Community’s Success” – Engr. Eric Anyamene Celebrates Idemili Women on International Women’s Day 2026
In celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, themed “Give to Gain,” Engr. Eric Nnamdi Anyamene, founder of the Eric Nnamdi Anyamene Foundation (ENAF), has extended heartfelt congratulations to the women of Idemili North and South Local Government Areas, praising their vital role in shaping families, communities, and society at large.
In a statement issued from his Obosi residence, Engr. Anyamene acknowledged the resilience, dedication, and leadership demonstrated by women across the constituency. He described them as pillars of society whose contributions often go unrecognized yet remain central to the well-being of communities.
“Today, we celebrate the strength, vision, and nurturing spirit of Idemili women,” Engr. Anyamene said. “Your role in raising the next generation, supporting families, and driving social cohesion is invaluable. We owe much of our community’s progress to your dedication.”
The ENAF founder also highlighted the foundation’s ongoing interventions aimed at empowering women and improving the lives of children in the constituency. From educational support for underprivileged girls to health and economic empowerment programmes, the foundation has consistently prioritized initiatives that directly benefit women and families.
“Through ENAF, we have sought to create opportunities that uplift women, because when women thrive, communities thrive,” he added. “Our work with women and children is not charity; it is an investment in the future of Idemili.”
Community leaders and residents welcomed Engr. Anyamene’s message, noting that it reflects his longstanding commitment to inclusive development. Many praised his hands-on approach, pointing out that his interventions have tangibly improved access to education, healthcare, and economic support for women and children in the area.
In closing, Engr. Anyamene urged both men and women to continue supporting and uplifting women in every sphere of life, emphasizing that societal progress depends on recognizing and harnessing the full potential of women.
“Let us ensure that the spirit of International Women’s Day goes beyond today,” he said. “Celebrate, support, and invest in women every day. Their success is our community’s success.”
