“Your First Salary is for Your Father, Not Your Pastor,” Insists Kanayo O. Kanayo.
Actor Anayo Modestus Onyekwere popularly known as Kanayo. O. Kanayo has reiterated that the first salary of his son or daughter is not for the pastor but the father.
He made this statement on a clip of the podcast, ‘The Honest Bunch’ asking if the pastors who request the first salary of its members were the ones who trained them.
He said: “Religion has brought a lot of washing that a man will sit in the comfort of his house and ask my son or daughter to bring what they call first fruit. Na you train am? Your first salary is for your father, not your Pastor.
We are all gods, the Bible says ‘Ye are gods’, I am a god. Your first salary is for your father, not your pastor.”
