“You Try to Take My Life… Really?” – Speed Darlington Alleges Gunshot Attack in Lagos
Controversial singer Speed Darlington has claimed that he survived a gunshot attack in the early hours of January 27 after leaving a club in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The artist shared a video on social media showing visible damage to his car. According to him, he and his driver heard gunshots, and upon checking, they realized that bullets had struck his vehicle, leaving dents.
In the video, Speed Darlington, who has been in a heated feud with Burna Boy, hinted that the attack might be connected to their dispute. “I haven’t even said anything yet, and people are already sending assassins my way. There must be truth in what I’m saying,” he stated.
He further expressed his frustration in the comment section, writing: “Bro, is this necessary? You try to take my life… really?”
Authorities have yet to confirm any details regarding the alleged incident.
