Woman Calls on River Goddess to Curse Partner if He Leaves Her
A young Ghanaian woman has sparked heated debate online after a video surfaced of her invoking a river deity to curse her partner if he ever abandons her.
In the viral footage, the woman revealed that she and her partner had sworn a covenant never to separate. She claimed she had endured years of hardship and made sacrifices to support him, vowing not to be cast aside now that his circumstances have improved.
“If he tries to abandon me for another woman after he becomes more stable in life, may the gods deal with him on my behalf,” she declared.
The woman further demanded GHS100,000 in compensation should her partner decide to marry someone else, warning that divine punishment should fall on him if he fails to honor the agreement.
The video has stirred strong reactions across social media, with many weighing in on love, loyalty, and the use of spiritual oaths in relationships.
