“Wike Will Make Your Life Miserable” – Deji Adeyanju Warns Fubara Despite Tinubu’s Peace Deal
Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has expressed doubt over the longevity of the truce brokered by President Bola Tinubu between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike. Tinubu had on Thursday night met with both men and the leadership of the Rivers State House of Assembly to resolve the prolonged political crisis in the state.
Although reports suggest the President successfully reconciled the feuding parties, Adeyanju remains unconvinced that the peace will last. In a Facebook post reacting to the development, he warned Governor Fubara not to let his guard down, insisting that Wike could still disrupt his administration.
“No matter the agreement you have with Wike, he will make your life miserable. Wike is an unreasonable man,” Adeyanju wrote. He further warned that the political tension is far from over and could escalate by 2027. “Fubara will not be able to sleep with two eyes closed and 2027 will be worst. Even when Wike makes a vow, his vow is as useless as the T in buffet,” he added.
