Why Tuface Wears My Beads on Neck, Hands – Natasha Osawaru

Natasha Osawaru, Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly and granddaughter of the Igbinedion Royal Family, has addressed viral claims that she is using traditional beads to place a spiritual hold on Nigerian music icon Innocent “Tuface” Idibia.

In an exclusive interview with Stella Korkus, Osawaru dismissed the accusations made by Tuface’s mother, Rose Idibia, who had publicly urged her to “free” her son and remove the beads supposedly placed on his neck and wrists. Rose had expressed fears that her son was no longer acting in his right senses, especially in the wake of his recent divorce from actress Annie Idibia and subsequent reports of a marriage proposal to the lawmaker.

Reacting to the claims, Osawaru made it clear that the beads are cultural, not spiritual. “Those beads were given to me on my birthday. They represent a princess from a royal family. You know I am from the Igbinedion Royal Family,” she explained.

She went on to stress that Tuface wore the beads out of personal preference, not because they were forced on him. “I did not wear them on him. He saw them, liked them, and wore them. If you observe, you will see that he likes beads a lot and has been wearing several before now,” she said.

Osawaru’s response comes amid growing speculation online about her relationship with the singer, but she maintained that there is no spiritual manipulation involved—just tradition, taste, and personal choice.
