Why South East Will Reward Tinubu with Massive Votes in 2027 – Minister Umahi
The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has expressed confidence that the South East will show overwhelming electoral support for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections as a gesture of gratitude for his inclusive leadership and development efforts in the region.
Umahi made this known while thanking the president for his recent state visit to Anambra, where he commissioned key projects. The minister, through a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Orji Uchenna Orji, said the visit was a strong signal of President Tinubu’s commitment to equitable governance and national unity.
Highlighting the president’s remarks during the visit, Umahi quoted Tinubu as saying, “Anambra has huge potential, and with Soludo, we can all work together to fast-track the vision. We will continue to partner with your state to deliver shared prosperity to Ndi Anambra and all Nigerians.”
The minister affirmed that the people of the South East, known for their appreciation, will not forget the president’s efforts to include the region in the national development agenda of the Renewed Hope administration. He added that Tinubu’s focus on infrastructure such as roads, rail, and power—as well as initiatives like the Presidential Power Initiative and the digital economy drive—are tangible signs of his commitment to improving lives in the region.
According to Umahi, President Tinubu’s leadership style continues to inspire confidence across Nigeria’s diverse populations and reinforces the ideals of unity and equal opportunity.
