VP Shettima Arrives South East for Project Inauguration
Vice-President Kashim Shettima touched down at Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu at 9:52 a.m. today, marking his first visit to the South-East since taking office on May 29, 2023.
Greeted by a reception committee comprising Governors Peter Mbah, Hope Uzodimma, Chukwuma Soludo, and Francis Nwifuru, alongside notable figures like Rochas Okorocha, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Anyim Pius Anyim, traditional rulers, government officials, and dignitaries, Mr. Shettima’s arrival stirred anticipation for the significant events lined up during his visit.
The Vice-President is scheduled to participate in the South-East Business Roundtable and officiate the formal launch of the South-East phase of the Light Up Nigeria Project. Additionally, he will inaugurate the Aba Integrated Power Project organized by the management of Geometric Power Limited.
