The situation came to public attention after a viral video surfaced online showing pilots visibly struggling to control the aircraft, with a background voice—allegedly Wike’s—heard praying intensely during the ordeal. The incident reportedly occurred a few days ago, though the exact date remains unconfirmed.

On Wednesday, a new video emerged of Wike recounting the event during a church service, offering a testimony of gratitude for surviving what could have been a fatal accident. His remarks were shared by popular media personality Tunde Ednut on Instagram, who noted that Wike had now personally confirmed the story many were speculating about online.

Ednut wrote, “I posted a story yesterday about a private jet that had engine failure, but I didn’t call any names.
