JUST IN: Valentine Ozigbo Officially Joins APC
Valentine Ozigbo has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, just a day after resigning from the Labour Party (LP).
Ozigbo is currently being received by APC executives in Aguata Local Government Area, his home LGA, marking his formal defection to the ruling party at the national level.
A former governorship candidate of the PDP in the 2021 Anambra election, Ozigbo joined the Labour Party alongside Peter Obi in 2022, He worked closely with Obi during the 2023 general elections.
Dressed in a muffler bearing the APC logo and the image of President Bola Tinubu, Ozigbo’s defection fuels speculation that he is strongly positioned to secure the APC gubernatorial ticket for the upcoming election in Anambra State.
