US Nears Full Control of Iranian Airspace, White House Says
The United States is poised to establish complete control over Iranian airspace within hours, as military operations against Iran enter their fifth day, the White House announced.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Wednesday, March 4, that American forces were close to achieving full aerial dominance. “We expect to have complete and total dominance over Iranian airspace in the coming hours,” she said.
Separately, commentator Pete Hegseth noted that the US and Israel are coordinating to secure the skies above Iran. “We will have complete control of Iranian skies, uncontested airspace,” he said, without specifying a precise timeline.
Hegseth added that the aim is to enable allied forces to operate without restriction against Iran’s military infrastructure. “That means we will fly all day, all night, day and night, finding, fixing and finishing the missiles and defense industrial base of the Iranian military,” he said.
The remarks come amid ongoing joint US–Israeli operations targeting missile installations and defense facilities across Iran, signaling an escalation in regional military activity.
