Unopposed: Soludo Emerges APGA Governorship Candidate
Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has secured the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) ticket to contest for a second term in office. Soludo, who faced no opposition in the party’s primary election, emerged as the sole candidate, garnering over 300 delegate votes during the exercise held in Awka on Saturday.
The outcome cements Soludo’s position as APGA’s standard-bearer ahead of the Anambra governorship election scheduled for November 8, 2025. Party members and supporters present at the primary applauded the unanimous endorsement of the governor, who they credited with steady leadership since assuming office.
With the ticket in hand, Soludo now prepares to campaign for re-election, seeking to extend his administration’s mandate for another four years.
