Trump Threats: Tinubu Holds Talks with Sultan of Sokoto at State House
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday held a meeting with the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Sultan Muhammad Sa’adu Abubakar, at the State House in Abuja. The engagement was confirmed by Tinubu’s Special Assistant on New Media, Dada Olusegun, through a post on X, where he shared a video of the meeting.
According to Olusegun, the discussion formed part of the president’s ongoing consultations with religious and traditional leaders across the country. The meeting with the Sultan comes only days after Tinubu received the Archbishop of Abuja, Bishop Ignatius Ayau Kaigama, underscoring the administration’s continued engagement with faith leaders to foster national unity and dialogue.
