In a statement released by the Trump transition team, the Department of Government Efficiency, dubbed the administration’s “Manhattan Project,” is set to tackle the nation’s $6.5 trillion in annual federal spending. The goal is to streamline operations, eliminate redundant regulations, and introduce a more entrepreneurial approach to government.

Trump expressed confidence in the leadership of Musk and Ramaswamy, emphasizing their experience and vision for reform. “I am pleased to announce that the great Elon Musk, alongside American patriot Vivek Ramaswamy, will lead the Department of Government Efficiency.
