Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, the Iya-Oloja General of Lagos State and the daughter of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been reported to have ordered the closure of the Ikeja Computer Village.
The order was said to have been sequel to the refusal to pay an imposed levy of N1000 per day by the business owners, including ICT experts reportedly numbering about 5million doing business in the computer village, a hub of ICT accessories in the state.
She was said to have given instructions to her aides to invade the market ordering that no shops should open for business.
The business owners were reported to have said they are presently grappling with the effects of the lockdown imposed by the state government as a result of the novel corona virus.
They further complained that they are presently paying dues and levies to already existing associations which they all belong to and that are duly registered with the Federal Government.
