“Tinubu Will Rule Till 2031, Perish the Thought of 2027” – Igbokwe Tells Obi, Atiku
Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has warned presidential hopefuls to abandon their ambitions for the 2027 general elections, asserting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will remain in power until 2031.
In a statement shared on his official Facebook page, Igbokwe directly addressed speculation surrounding the possible alliance between Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s candidate in the 2023 elections, and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to unseat Tinubu. He dismissed such plans, emphasizing Tinubu’s leadership and need for a second term to fulfill his agenda.
“If any presidential aspirant is dreaming of winning presidential elections in 2027, I will advise that candidate to perish the thought till 2031. PBAT is destined to remain in the seat of power till 2031. He needs eight years to set the records straight,” Igbokwe declared.
