Tinubu Reshuffles Leadership at Federal Universities in Oye-Ekiti and Lokoja

 

 

In a move aimed at promoting national unity and diversity in university administration, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved an immediate leadership swap at two federal universities.

 

A statement released on Wednesday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed that Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, formerly the Pro-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, will now take on the same role at Federal University Oye-Ekiti. In turn, Engineer Kayode Ojo, who previously held the position at Oye-Ekiti, has been reassigned to Federal University Lokoja.

 

The reshuffling reflects President Tinubu’s ongoing commitment to ensuring balanced representation and effective governance within Nigeria’s higher education system. According to the statement, this strategic change is designed to foster cohesion and collaboration between institutions across the country.

 

“This leadership adjustment is part of President Tinubu’s broader initiative to enhance diversity and national unity in the management of Nigeria’s federal universities,” the statement read.
