Tinubu Hosts Soludo in Abuja Amid Anambra Election Build-Up
President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday welcomed Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, to the Presidential Villa in Abuja for a closed-door meeting. While the agenda of their discussion has not been officially disclosed, political observers suggest it may be linked to the forthcoming Anambra governorship election, where Soludo is seeking re-election.
The meeting drew attention after Soludo was seen wearing a cap emblazoned with Tinubu’s infinity logo, a gesture viewed by many as a public show of support for the President, who is widely believed to be considering another term in office.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the Anambra governorship election is scheduled to take place on November 8, 2025.
