“Tinubu Has Restored My Hope in Nigeria” – Daddy Freeze
Popular media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, widely known as Daddy Freeze, has expressed renewed optimism in Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He believes the president’s policies are offering hope to citizens and urged Nigerians to be patient as the administration tackles the country’s deep-rooted challenges.
Speaking during an interview with Nigeria Info FM in Lagos, Daddy Freeze acknowledged his initial concerns about Tinubu’s leadership but said he has been reassured by the administration’s efforts, particularly in the power sector.
“With President Bola Tinubu, I don’t think Nigeria is in trouble. I was scared initially, but I’m seeing the work he is doing,” he said.
Comparing Nigeria to an overloaded tipper truck with a faulty engine, he explained that fixing the country’s numerous problems would be a complex and gradual process. He cautioned against expecting immediate solutions from any government, emphasizing that systemic issues take time to resolve.
“I was worried initially, but with the way this regime has handled things up until now, I am leaning towards the fact that we finally have hope in this country,” he added.
