Three Sisters Found Dead After Birthday Party in Delta
A wave of panic has gripped the Delta Steel Company (DSC) township in Oruwhorun, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, following the mysterious deaths of three sisters in their father’s home.
The sisters, aged between 14 and 30, were discovered lifeless on Monday, foaming at the mouth, after returning from a birthday party the previous day. They occasionally visited their father and stepmother but did not reside permanently with them.
The tragic incident has left the community reeling, especially as it comes less than a year after the death of their biological mother. Sources revealed that the girls’ father remarried shortly after their mother’s passing, with the new wife reportedly being a close friend of the deceased woman.
In response to the deaths, authorities have arrested both the father and stepmother as investigations into the circumstances continue. Delta State Police Command spokesman, Edafe Bright, confirmed the incident and assured the public that detectives were working to uncover the cause of death.
“We are treating this as a suspicious death and are exploring all angles,” Bright stated. “The public will be updated as we make progress.”
