Three of Four Suspects in Moscow Concert Hall Attack Admit Guilt in Court Appearance

Following the tragic concert hall attack near Moscow claiming over 130 lives, three out of four suspects from Tajikistan have pleaded guilty to terror charges. According to Russian authorities, all four individuals will remain in custody until at least May 22nd, pending trial.

The suspects, namely Dalerdzhon Barotovich Mirzoyev (32), Saidakrami Murodali Rachabalizoda (30), Shamsidin Fariduni (25), and Muhammadsobir Fayzov (19), made their appearance at the Basmanny district court in Moscow on Sunday, as reported by Sky News.

The death toll from the attack on the Piknik rock concert at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk has now tragically risen to 137, with at least 154 individuals sustaining injuries.

Mirzoyev, Rachabalizoda, and Fariduni confessed to their involvement in the attack after being formally charged. Mirzoyev, a father of four, has been subjected to the standard two-month pre-trial detention protocol in Russia for cases of this nature.

In a separate development, the fourth suspect, Fayzov, arrived at court directly from a hospital, confined to a wheelchair. Medical personnel attended to Fayzov during the proceedings, where he appeared in a hospital gown and trousers, displaying visible cuts.

Meanwhile, the other three suspects appeared in court with evident signs of physical abuse, including bruises and swollen faces, amidst allegations in Russian media of torture during their interrogation by security services. Video footage capturing their arrival at the court depicted them being forcibly dragged through the building premises.
