“They Keep Coming for My Dad – It’s No Longer About Politics,” Says Seyi Tinubu
Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, says the attacks directed at his father and family have gone beyond politics. Addressing a group of youths during a recent visit to Yola, Seyi defended the president’s record and described him as the greatest leader Nigeria has ever had.
Seyi, who has been on a nationwide tour since the beginning of the year, meeting with governors and political stakeholders across northern and southern states, said his father remains undeterred in his mission to improve the country despite persistent criticisms.
“They keep coming for me, they keep coming for my family, they keep coming for your father, they keep coming for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the greatest president in the history of Nigeria,” he said.
According to him, President Tinubu is a leader who prioritizes the youth and has built a system that allows young Nigerians to thrive. He praised his father for keeping citizens at home rather than fleeing abroad and for creating an inclusive economy that works for all.
“He is the only president that considers youths, the only president that created a platform for young people to fly, the only president that is not trying to enrich his own pocket,” Seyi added.
His remarks come amid growing criticism over his philanthropic efforts, with some accusing him of focusing financial support on the southwest while offering mostly handouts in the north.
