“The Burial Poster Needs Corrections” – Junior Pope’s Family Issues Clarification
The family of late Nigerian actor Junior Pope has issued a statement calling for corrections to a widely circulated funeral poster, which they say contains several inaccuracies. The poster, detailing the burial arrangements for Junior Pope, indicated a burial date of May 17, 2024, in his hometown in Enugu State.
However, Snazzy, representing the family, took to Instagram to clarify that the poster was unauthorized and required corrections. He requested public assistance in removing the erroneous version, while announcing that a revised version would be released soon.
Fans had previously noted that the word “husband” was conspicuously absent from the poster, causing speculation about its legitimacy. Junior Pope was married to Jennifer Awele, with whom he had three sons.
In his Instagram post, Snazzy stated: “Dear Junior Pope Fans, I wanted to bring to your attention that the current poster of our late brother Junior Pope displayed needs some corrections. The family has requested your assistance in bringing it down. They mentioned that the revised version will be released soon. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.”
The family urges the public to disregard the incorrect poster and wait for the revised version. They also ask for privacy during this challenging time and appreciate the outpouring of support. To avoid spreading misinformation, they request fans to share only the corrected poster once it’s released.
