Ten Hag is Better than Ferguson, Don’t Sack Him, Please!” – Kevin Pietersen Begs Manchester United
Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has stirred the pot with a sarcastic plea for Manchester United to keep Erik ten Hag as manager, even after their dismal 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
In a match that saw Spurs dominate, with early goals and a red card for United’s captain Bruno Fernandes, Pietersen took to social media with a tongue-in-cheek endorsement of the Dutch manager. He mockingly claimed Ten Hag is superior to Manchester United’s legendary boss, Sir Alex Ferguson.
“Please give Ten Hag time. He is a wonderful manager and has earned the right to another 2/3 seasons at least. He’s even better than Ferguson. PLEASE don’t sack him! PLEASE,” Pietersen tweeted, sparking heated reactions among fans.
