JUST IN: Manchester United Confirms Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Departure as New Manager Ruben Amorim Arrives in UK

Manchester United has officially confirmed the departure of interim head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy, just as new manager Ruben Amorim arrives in the UK to take over the reins.

Van Nistelrooy, a legendary former striker for the Red Devils, stepped into the coaching role on an interim basis following the recent dismissal of Erik ten Hag. During his short tenure, he led the team through four matches, with fans and players praising his dedication and connection to the club.

On Monday, the club released a statement, marking the end of van Nistelrooy’s time in charge and expressing appreciation for his contributions. “Manchester United can confirm that Ruud van Nistelrooy has left the club,” the statement read. “Ruud rejoined in the summer and has taken charge of the team for the past four matches as interim head coach. Ruud is, and always will be, a Manchester United legend. We are grateful for his contribution and the way in which he has approached his role throughout his time with the club. He will always be very welcome at Old Trafford.”

The statement was issued shortly after Ruben Amorim, former Sporting CP head coach, arrived in the UK to begin his tenure with Manchester United. Amorim’s appointment comes with high expectations, as he is known for his tactical expertise and ability to develop young talent.

As Amorim settles in, United fans and players alike will look forward to a new chapter under his guidance, while van Nistelrooy departs with respect and gratitude from the club he helped shape both on and off the field.
