Teenage Girl Without a Vagina Becomes Pregnant from Giving Oral S€x,

A 15-year-old girl from Lesotho, Southern Africa, shocked doctors when she arrived at the hospital with abdominal pain, only to discover she was nine months pregnant—despite being born without a vaginal opening.

According to DailyMail, the teenager had a rare condition called distal vaginal atresia, a congenital defect that affects between one in 4,000 to 10,000 newborn girls. Given her anatomy, natural conception should have been impossible without medical intervention such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, tests confirmed she was about to give birth, requiring an emergency C-section.

Her case puzzled medical professionals, who sought to understand how the pregnancy had occurred. During interviews, they uncovered an unusual series of events: Nine months earlier, the girl had been hospitalized with a stab wound to the stomach. She explained that her ex-boyfriend had attacked her after catching her performing oral s*x on her new partner.

Doctors, reporting in the British Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, concluded that sperm from the encounter had traveled through the stab wound into her reproductive system, leading to conception. Normally, stomach acid would destroy sperm before it could reach the uterus. However, the medics theorized that because the girl was malnourished, her digestive system was less acidic, allowing the sperm to survive and migrate through the injury.

Further investigation ruled out any other possible explanations. The final confirmation came when the child, born weighing 6.2 pounds (2.8kg), grew to closely resemble his biological father—the man the girl had been intimate with before the attack.

The teenager later revealed that she was aware of her condition after unsuccessful attempts at vaginal intercourse and therefore preferred oral s*x. She admitted that, despite noticing her abdomen growing, she never believed she was pregnant due to her lack of a vaginal opening.
