Suspected Killer of NYSC Member Seen Praying in Court
Gospel singer Timilehin Ajayi, who is on trial for the murder of 24-year-old NYSC member Salome Adaidu, was seen praying in court earlier today. Ajayi appeared calm as he stood quietly, clasping his hands and whispering a prayer before proceedings began.
The suspect is facing charges related to the killing of Salome, who was serving with Nicon Insurance in Abuja before her death. She had reportedly visited Ajayi at his residence in the Papalana area of New Karshi, located in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, when the incident occurred.
Ajayi was arrested on January 12 while attempting to dispose of Salome’s dismembered body. During police interrogation, he confessed to the crime and showed no remorse, claiming the victim was his girlfriend and had been unfaithful to him.
The case continues to draw public attention, with many shocked by the disturbing details and the suspect’s lack of remorse.
