Super Eagles Star Alex Iwobi Robbed at Knifepoint in London Home
Alex Iwobi, a midfielder for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, was reportedly the victim of a violent burglary at his residence in London, with valuables estimated at £500,000 stolen.
According to Daily Sports, the attackers confronted Iwobi at knifepoint during the incident before proceeding to search the property. The group is said to have taken designer wristwatches, jewellery, two iPhones, and a MacBook laptop.
Reports also indicate that approximately £200,000 in cash was among the items stolen.
Authorities in the United Kingdom have opened an investigation and are working to identify those responsible.
Iwobi recently featured for Fulham FC in their 3–1 victory over Burnley FC in the Premier League.
