You use my name to promote your show. I charge N20 million, ask around. I don’t want to be friends with poor people,” Portable stated at the time.

In response, Darlington expressed regret for offering Portable the amount, questioning why the situation had escalated with insults. Portable, however, retaliated by challenging Darlington to a fight, claiming that he would defeat him just as he did with actor Charles Okocha.
