Sowore Describes Tinubu’s Council of State Meeting as ‘Failure Meeting Failure’
At a Council of State meeting chaired by President Bola Tinubu and held at the Presidential Villa, former President Olusegun Obasanjo was notably absent, as previously reported by SK Blog
Omoyele Sowore, known for his #RevolutionNow movement, openly mocked the gathering of former presidents and heads of state, including immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari. Sowore, a former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, criticized the assembly, dubbing it a ‘meeting of failures’.
In a post on his X account, Sowore stated, “Failure meeting Failure: Today in Abuja at the Presidential Villa, a former failed President @MBuhari had a meeting with the current failed President @officialABAT.”
Former Presidents Goodluck Jonathan, Yakubu Gowon, and Abdulsalami Abubakar participated in the meeting virtually, along with other key figures. The Council of State, which provides advisory support to the President on significant policy issues, includes the Vice President, Senate President, and other top officials.
