Shocking Revelation: DNA Test Confirms Osun Man Is Not the Father of His Four Children

In a stunning and heart-wrenching revelation, Kolawole Olanrewaju, a resident of Ikire in Osun State, has discovered that the four children he believed to be his own for nearly 17 years are not biologically related to him. The shocking revelation came to light after a DNA test conducted on his four children, aged 16, 12, 8, and 5, at the DDC DNA Diagnostic Centre in Ibadan, Oyo State, produced negative results, unequivocally indicating that he is not their biological father.

Kolawole unveiled this startling truth during a Yoruba-language program broadcast on Agidigbo FM in Ibadan, Oyo State, where he recounted his painful journey of discovering the paternity deceit. He accused his wife, Toyin Olanrewaju, of engaging in extramarital affairs, which had caused a significant strain in their marriage.

“I am seeking help from Nigerians. I want justice,” Kolawole declared. He shared that he had tied the knot with Toyin in 2007, and together they had raised four children. However, he later uncovered the unsettling truth that none of the four children was biologically his after undergoing DNA testing. His suspicions had arisen due to Toyin’s alleged infidelity.

Kolawole continued, “She has been cheating on me. Whenever we quarrel, it is because of her waywardness. She has a property, and whenever I chided her for indulging in adultery, she would say it was a matter of time. I didn’t understand that she was planning to move to her site as soon she completed it so that she would be very free.”

The unraveling of this troubling narrative took another twist when Toyin expressed her desire to hire a house help. Despite Kolawole’s suggestion to hire a male helper, Toyin insisted on hiring a female. One day, while Kolawole was away at work, she abruptly packed up and left.

As their relationship deteriorated, Kolawole made the difficult decision to divorce Toyin, but a lingering doubt prompted him to pursue a DNA test for their children. “I did for our first child, and the result returned zero per cent compatibility in our blood,” he said. Kolawole then recounted a chilling incident: “I took the child to her house, and as I was leaving, I overheard her telling somebody on the phone that ‘they have brought your child, come and pick him.’ The man on the other end of the phone told her to bring the child to Osogbo. That was why I decided to do DNA for the three remaining children, and it turned out that all of them are not mine.”

In a contrasting viewpoint, Toyin rejected the DNA results and vehemently maintained that the children belonged to Kolawole. “I don’t accept those results. I was not there when the sample was collected, so I didn’t know what samples were collected. I can’t accept those results because I know how I got pregnant. The person that told my (first) child that he is the father has not confirmed the result,” she asserted, leaving this complex situation fraught with uncertainty and painful implications.
