Senator representing Lagos East, Bayo ‘pepperito’ Oshinowo is dead
The Senator Representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Adebayo Oshinowo, popularly known as pepperito, is dead.
He replaced popular Lagos senator Ashafa in 2019 after Bola Tinubu unceremoniously withdrew support for Ashafa.
Prior to becoming a senator, he was a member of the Lagos house of assembly.
He had been receiving treatment at the special intenstive unit of a Lagos Cardiology Centre, for an undisclosed illness until his demise.
Lawmakers at the national assembly adjourned sitting as a result of this incident.
