See Alleged Deputy to Gentle De Yahoo Killed by Security Forces in Imo
Onyekachi Isaac, popularly known as Angel Make-Up and identified as the second-in-command to the dreaded IPOB militant leader Gentle De Yahoo, has reportedly been killed by joint security forces in Imo State.
The Nigerian Army confirmed that Angel Make-Up was among five fighters neutralized during a raid on the group’s hideout in Aku, Ihube, Okigwe Local Government Area. The operation, led by troops of the 34 Brigade under the 82 Division, was described as a commando-style mission that dealt a heavy blow to the gang.
While the death of Gentle De Yahoo’s deputy has been verified, the Army said the fate of the gang leader himself remains uncertain. Security sources noted that eliminating his second-in-command marks a significant setback for the group, which has been linked to violent attacks across the South-East.
