Salah Matches Henry, Shearer Records in EPL
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has reached a milestone shared only by football legends Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer, as he secured his 25th goal contribution of the season during Liverpool’s Premier League match against Brighton over the weekend.
The Egyptian forward’s decisive goal led Liverpool to a 2-1 victory against Brighton at Anfield on Sunday, further solidifying his impact on the team’s success.
Salah’s tally for the season now stands at 16 goals and 9 assists, marking his seventh consecutive season achieving 25 or more goal contributions in the Premier League. This achievement places him alongside iconic figures Henry and Shearer, making him only the third player in Premier League history to accomplish such a feat.
Having previously showcased his prowess at Chelsea and AS Roma, Salah’s consistent performance has undoubtedly cemented his status as one of the league’s most formidable talents.
With Liverpool set to face Sheffield United in their upcoming Premier League fixture on Thursday, Salah will be eager to maintain his impressive form under the management of Jurgen Klopp, as the Reds strive for further success in the season ahead.
