Rule of Law: UK court of appeal halts planned deportation of 50 people to Jamaica tomorrow
The UK court of appeal has halted the deportation of around 50 people to Jamaica tomorrow. The court ruled that they had not been given proper access to legal advice as they did not have working UK sim cards while they were held in detention.
This came just hours after a high court refused to stop the deportation.
