Regina Daniels’ Allegations: Ned Nwoko Breaks Silence, Shares His Side of the Story

Businessman and politician Ned Nwoko has released his version of events following allegations by his wife, actress Regina Daniels, and her family that he sent thugs to assault her. In a statement shared online, Nwoko dismissed the claims as false, describing the viral video of Regina and her relatives making the accusations as a “Nollywood script” allegedly staged by her siblings.

He claimed the video was filmed at his home in his absence and accused Regina’s brothers, Lawrence and Sammy, along with Sammy’s girlfriend NK, her sister Destiny, and actress Sonia Ogala, of enabling what he described as Regina’s drug addiction. According to him, Regina has been receiving treatment for substance abuse, and her doctors advised keeping her away from those who encourage her relapse.

Nwoko alleged that despite efforts to restrict access, Regina’s siblings and some Nollywood figures, including Uche Montana, often forced their way into the house to supply her with drugs, undermining medical intervention. He said Sammy would frequently visit the house to harass his staff and security when they refused to let Regina leave.

The politician further claimed he had supported Sammy financially, buying him music equipment and a furnished apartment in Abuja, but said Sammy “failed to get his act together.” Nwoko also insinuated that Regina’s mother, actress Rita Daniels, was complicit, alleging she shared the same attitude toward drugs, which he said they excused as part of a “celebrity lifestyle.”

Nwoko stated that he endured a lot during his marriage to Regina for the sake of their children and reiterated that both Regina and Sammy need rehabilitation. He did not, however, address reports concerning Sammy’s arrest or his alleged inability to access his lawyer and family.

Nwoko’s video statement and full remarks have since circulated widely on social media.
