“President Tinubu Did Not Finish Nigeria, All He Finished Is Our Fake Life” – Reno Omokri
In a recent Instagram post, Omokri questioned the assertions of those who say the economy is collapsing, pointing to the high demand for the newly released iPhone 17 Pro Max, which costs $1,999 and is reportedly sold out in Nigeria.
He criticized Nigerians who, in his view, complain about government inefficiency yet fail to contribute through taxes. “Ask those who bought the phone to pay taxes, and you will hear stories. But they expect everything from a government they do not pay taxes to,” he wrote.
Omokri added, “President Tinubu did not finish Nigeria. All he finished is our fake life! We act as though we are poor when it comes to paying taxes, but we behave richly when it comes to blowing money!”
