President fires Security details

The President, Muhammadu Buhari has fired his security details and other persons involved in the crises between his wife Aisha and his PA, Sabiu Yusuf.

Buhari had taken the step on the advice of his closest confidant, Mamman Daura.

Mamman had informed the President that his security aides were after him consequent upon the Sabiu Yusuf saga.

You would recall, that the President’s PA, Sabiu Yusuf had gone on a private trip to Lagos, from Daura, Kano and back to Abuja.

Upon his return to the villa, he was advised to self-isolate for 14days.

This had infuriated him and consequently invited the police to arrest aides of the First Lady.

Matters went from bad to worse, when there were reports of shooting in the villa as a fallout of all fracas.

Consequent upon investigations and advice, the President thus directed that all persons pinpointed in the incidence should be fired.

Those reportedly involved include, the Chief Personal Security Officer, Chief Detail to the President, ADC to the First Lady, Escort Commander, ADC National Defence Council and about 37others.
