Pope Leo’s Inauguration: Only Go Where You Are Accepted and Appreciated – Femi Fani-Kayode Taunts Peter Obi, Obidient Movement
In a sharp social media jab, former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK) trolled former presidential candidate Peter Obi following the inauguration of Pope Leo XVI in Rome on Sunday, May 18.
FFK shared a video showing Obi alongside former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi at the entrance of the papal room, where security personnel appeared to be interrogating them. According to FFK, Obi was initially denied access to meet the Pope.
He claimed that only after intervention by President Bola Tinubu was Obi allowed in to pay homage, but still was not permitted close proximity to the Pope. Instead, Obi reportedly ended up paying homage to President Tinubu.
Taking a swipe at Obi’s supporters, known as the Obidient Movement, FFK advised:
“Obidients take note: only go where you are accepted and appreciated and not where you are tolerated.”
