Police Rescue Three Kidnap Victims in Lagos
Lagos State Police have successfully rescued three individuals abducted along the Lekki-Epe Expressway on Friday, March 7. The victims, identified as Umezulike Joseph, Eze Theodorah, and Rosemary Ogwulu, were taken by armed men while inspecting land they intended to purchase.
According to police reports, the victims were about to enter their vehicle when five gunmen seized them and took them to an undisclosed location. Authorities were alerted immediately, prompting officers to track the kidnappers to a hideout in the forested area near the expressway. Upon arrival, the suspects fled, abandoning the victims.
The rescued individuals have since been reunited with their families. Police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
