Police Arrest Seun Kuti For Assaulting Officer
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti for allegedly assaulting a police officer
The Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed this to ait.live said the singer is currently in their custody and investigation has commenced into the matter.
The singer who was alleged to have gone into hiding when officers of the command attempted to arrest him, submitted himself to the police on Monday morning and was subsequently arrested.
Kuti earlier said via his Instagram page that he would give his full cooperation into the investigation urging the police to indict whoever is wrong.
Son of Afrobeat legend, Seun Kuti, was seen in a video circulating over the weekend where he was involved in a heated argument with a police officer assaulting him in the process.
