Photos: Customs Officer, Wife, Four Children and Four Relatives Killed in Road Crash to Be Buried in March
The funeral for ten members of a family who died in a motor accident is scheduled for March 20, 2026, in Ogboko, Ideato South Local Government Area, Imo State.
The victims, including Chidi Ejimnkeonye, an officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, his wife Ijeoma, their four children, and four other relatives, were involved in the crash on January 6, 2026, while returning from Christmas celebrations along the Loko-Nasarawa road. The family was traveling from the eastern region to their home in Abuja when the accident occurred.
The incident has left the community grieving. Sharing the announcement on Facebook, family member Mbuba Richy described Chidi Ejimnkeonye as “the family breadwinner” and expressed the deep sorrow of losing him and his family in the tragedy.
