Photos: Church Petitions CAN President Over Misappropriation Of Obi N2billion Mobilisation Fund
A church, Dominion Centre International, Owerri, has petitioned the president of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) over the alleged Misappropriation of N2 billion Mobilisation Fund of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi.
The church in the petition vowed not to mobilised her members for Mr Obi if they do not receive their share of the disbursement.
The petitioner appealed to the president of CAN to use “his good offices to rein-in on the mega churches, bishops and senior members of the various organs, to please, call for a round-table discussion on this very vexatious issue so that the funds can be shared equitably and judiciously for the betterment of every church concerned and for the mobilisation of Mr. Peter Obi”
