Photos: Bayelsa Woman Buried in Coca-Cola Bottle-Shaped Casket
Madam Afuwari Ego, also known as Ego Na Money, was buried on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Emeyal 1 community, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, in a casket designed to resemble a Coca-Cola bottle. She died at the age of 85.
The burial attracted attention from residents and guests, many of whom took note of the distinctive casket. According to Ogbara Walson Henry, who photographed the event, attendees described the design as unusual and memorable. Family members said the decision reflected Ego Na Money’s fondness for Coca-Cola, making the casket a personalized tribute to her life.
