Photo of Flatmate Who Killed British-Nigerian Student in Texas Released
A photo has been released of Chester Lamar Grant, the man charged with the murder of British-Nigerian student nurse Tamilore Elizabeth Odunsi in Houston, Texas.
Odunsi, 23, was found dead with multiple stab wounds on the kitchen floor of her apartment on Goforth Street around 3:50 p.m. on April 26. According to Houston Police, officers were called to the residence for a welfare check after receiving no response at the door. Inside, they discovered Odunsi’s body and found Grant, her 40-year-old flatmate, in a bedroom with at least one stab wound. He was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Grant has now been formally charged with murder. Reports suggest the incident may have followed an argument between the two flatmates about their pet cats. Odunsi’s death came just days before she was due to graduate from university.
