In a bold move, Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has issued a demand for President Bola Tinubu to disclose his true identity, including his name, nationality, place of birth, age, educational background, and more. Obi made this call during a press conference held in Abuja on Wednesday.

Former Anambra State governor, Obi, called upon President Tinubu to reintroduce himself to the nation and the world to dispel any lingering doubts and speculations surrounding his background and personal history. He asserted that only a direct personal statement from Tinubu himself could resolve these uncertainties.

Obi emphasized the need for President Tinubu to clarify critical details about his identity. He stated, “He should introduce himself to the nation he governs, and to the world for avoidance of further doubt. He should let the world know his name, his nationality, his place of birth, his current age, the primary and secondary schools he attended with dates, as well as the actual universities he attended and certificates he obtained. He should indicate clearly when and where he did his national youth service. In addition, if he had a change of name, he should state so clearly the time and circumstances.”

Obi further highlighted that this is a straightforward task that can be accomplished in just a few minutes and does not require the involvement of affidavits, spokespersons, or surrogates. He emphasized that the responsibility rests solely on Chief Bola Tinubu himself to address these questions urgently.
